This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in the engineering field.You will work as part of an engineering team of 3 totaling approximately 350,000 square foot office building in Herndon. This position requires the Maintenance Technician to be on-site. Local market requirements may vary slightly.WHAT YOU’LL DOAssist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipmentPerform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and/or paintingComplete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintain appropriate service documentationMaintain tools, parts, equipment, and supplies in clean and safe conditionsWork closely under the direction of Operating Engineers, Chief Engineers, and othersParticipate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programsSupport on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)Other projects and tasks to be assignedWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE1-2 years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentryTrade school, union training, military service, or college is desirableAbility to lift up to 50 lbsComfort using ladders up to 30 feet tallAbility to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and/or driveStrong customer service skillsWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOUJoin an industry leader and shape the future of commercial real estateDeep investment in cutting-edge technology to power your workProposed salary: $26-28 hrComprehensive and competitive benefits planA supportive, caring, and diverse work environment designed for your growth and well-beingEstimated total compensation for this position:
