Outside Sales Account Executive

Temperature Control Systems (a Kele Company), a multi-branch, nationwide distributor of commercial/industrial HVAC controls, burner/boiler controls, and building automation systems, is in search of an experienced Account Executive who will generate revenue from potential commercial customers and increase wallet share of existing customers by networking, visiting, calling, and other means. The Account Executive is required to grow and retain existing accounts by planning persuasive approaches and presenting new solutions and services in order to convince customers to increase their business volume with the company.By becoming part of the TCS/Kele Companies team, you will be part of a prosperous and expanding business segment selling tangible products from world-class manufacturers like Honeywell and Johnson Controls.Responsibilities:

Proactively conducts sales calls, asking investigative questions to identify opportunities, customer needs, and competitive intelligence.Actively promotes the company’s products and services to target customers in defined territory. Provides exceptional and expedient personal customer service to all internal and external customers.Tracks and records activity on accounts in order to close deals to meet targets.Creates and maintains account management plan for all assigned accounts.Collects, monitors, and consolidates customer data to jointly develop account strategies and tactics with the team and to maintain accuracy in the sales pipeline.Listens to and manages resolution of customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to the team for supporting the customer’s and the company’s shared goals.Meets and maintains sales activity levels to include attainment of sales revenue/margin quotas, call activity, quote and quote follow-up monthly, quarterly, and annually.Develops and implements sales strategies to achieve all goals and total spend opportunity associated with assigned accounts.Works collaboratively with branch team members as necessary to maximize sales opportunities.Sets up business reviews between customer decision-makers and sales management to determine how to best serve customers’ needs.Develops proposals that speak to customers’ needs, concerns, and objectives.Handles objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.Presents new products and services and enhances existing relationships.Works with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.Develops a thorough knowledge of product lines offered and can match product lines to customer requirements.Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of five years of related work experience selling mechanical components and/or solutions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and use company software.Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a sales-driven, goal-oriented capacity.Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Benefits:
