DescriptionUnited Construction and Forestry is a John Deere dealership with multiple locations across thenortheast. Our organization serves customers in a broad range of industries such ascommercial, construction, agricultural, as well as the consumer space. United strives forexceptional customer experience throughout all our locations and departments including parts,service, and sales.Summary – ObjectiveProvides total equipment solutions to key customers in an identified area of responsibilityincluding equipment purchasing decisions through product expertise and aftermarket support.Focus products include compact construction equipment, mid excavators including 75/85models, and available Morbark product lines (excluding industrial line ) sold to professional(Business to Business / B2B) companies/entities. Targeted customer segments consist oflandscape contractors, site developers, residential and commercial building. The role is todevelop new business and actively seek new sales opportunities within defined areas.Required Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent years of experience.Must possess a valid driver license with clean driving recordPreferred Education, Experience and Requirements5+ years equipment sales experience.Knowledge of compact commercial equipment and construction industryProficient in Microsoft Office and internet functionsAbility to work flexible hoursExcellent customer relationship skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to speak and write effectively in one-on-oneand groups settingsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
