SUMMARYThe Direct-to-Consumer Channel Manager is pivotal in overseeing our DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) relationship, maximizing sales within our Shopify platform, fulfillment partnership, website sales, managing affiliate marketing programs, orchestrating SMS and email communication channels, and ensuring seamless onboarding of new products and offerings. The primary objective will be to strategize and execute DTC initiatives that enhance the consumer's journey and engagement, drive traffic, and ultimately increase conversions and revenue on our website platforms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDevelop & Execute Go-to-Market Strategy:

Oversee Shopify management and develop an implementation plan that includes order fulfillment thought leadership, inventory management models, knowledge transfer, process documentation, and technical integrations (applications, widgets, plug-ins, platform functionality, analytics, etc.). Ensure the Shopify platform is competitive and effective with innovative solutions.DTC Website Sales Management:

Develop, implement, and report on strategies to optimize sales performance on our Direct-to-Consumer website, including monitoring traffic, analyzing conversion rates, and identifying areas for improvement. Manage key sales pillars throughout the fiscal year to strengthen engagement and grow revenue.Sales Optimization Strategies:

Continuously analyze sales data, consumer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth. Implement strategies and tactics to capitalize on these opportunities (e.g., loyalty incentives, communication engagements, new product offerings, purpose-driven campaigns, etc.).Affiliate Marketing Program Management:

Lead the affiliate marketing program by identifying and recruiting potential affiliates, managing relationships, and optimizing campaigns to drive sales and ROI. Manage agencies, including Advertise Purple and Commission Junction.SMS and Email Communications:

Develop and execute engaging SMS and email marketing campaigns, focusing on segmentation, personalized messaging, and automation to drive sales and customer retention. Manage platforms Klayvio (email) and attentive (SMS).Product Assortment Onboarding:

Collaborate with relevant teams to stay current on product offerings in the market, efficiently onboard new products, ensuring accurate listings, compelling product descriptions, and effective merchandising to maximize sales potential.Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with brand marketing, communications, customer service, and web teams to align strategies, drive retention, leverage resources effectively, and ensure seamless execution of ecommerce initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:Experience/Education: Ideal candidate has at least five years of DTC marketing and fulfillment experience working with consumer package goods companies.Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or another related field.Up-to-date knowledge of digital technology landscape and tools.Analysis, planning, and financial experience and accountability.Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:Must demonstrate an energetic, upbeat, helpful, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to take ownership.Self-starter, scrappy, determined team player, willing to learn, ask questions, and demonstrate analytical and creative problem-solving skills.Ability to influence, lead by example, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.Ability to manage complexity and operate with urgency.Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.Ability to pull, manipulate, and analyze data with an understanding of how to share, communicate, and drive decisions and internal alignment.Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.Strong storytelling and PowerPoint presentation-building skills.Experience with A/B testing and optimization.Strong budgeting, financial, and business acumen.Operate with transparency, truthfulness, and ethics, and live by the Traditional Medicinal values.

Technical Skills:Intermediate to advanced level skills with MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Knowledge of DTC order fulfillment channels, eCommerce digital advertising performance marketing KPIs, measurements, and scorecard metrics.Experience with Shopify, Google Analytics, Klyavio, Attentive, Yotpo, Shopper Gives, and Affiliate Marketing dashboard.Strong analytical skills, including evaluation of performance, user experience, and analytics.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience using tools such as TradePro, Adaptive, Stackline, SPINs, IRI, and AC Nielsen are a plus.

Travel Requirements:Ability to travel 5% of the job.

Office Hours/Location:This position is based in Rohnert Park, CA. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 – 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST).This is a hybrid role offering the flexibility to occasionally work remotely. Expected in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Subject to change.Remote candidates will not be considered for this role.

Compensation Range: $92,800 - $121,800. Compensation is determined based on non-discriminatory, business-related factors, including but not limited to, training, experience, education and/or professional certifications, geographic location, and market data.
