Acquisition Project Manager

to fill an exciting opportunity supporting the federal government.The ideal candidate must be within the DMV area, as this role has not yet been established as onsite, hybrid, or fully remote.As an

Acquisition Project Manager , you will maintain and manage the client interface with the Contracting Officer Representative of the client organization and assist the Program Manager as required in managing contract performance. You will have mastered Federal and Departmental procurement regulations and have expert knowledge of Federal contracting law, regulations, policies and precedents, and related principles, policies, and procedures sufficient to plan, lead, review, or audit the most complex procurement functions.These functions include:Manage contract support operations on a single project daily, involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations.Demonstrate skills in the scope of work encompassed by the contract/task order; provide technical guidance to the project team in performing the work and review the quality of all work products.Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and staff direction and oversight.Skilled in promoting e-commerce and supporting automated acquisition systems, contractor performance evaluation systems, electronic invoicing systems, and other electronic systems facilitating the agency's move to paperless contracting.Proficient knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other federal regulations, policies, and procedures.Ability to plan and organize work independently.Provide input on operational improvements, program policies, procedures, and internal controls.Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, understand complex issues, maintain good working relations, and meet basic professional performance standards.Must have the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Required Job Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or at least 24 credit hours in business or a business-related field.Ten (10) years of operational experience in Federal Contracting.Must be proficient in using the Microsoft suite of applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Adobe Acrobat.Preferred Job Qualifications:Master’s Degree in business or a business-related field.Certified Federal Contracts Manager certification through NCMA.Base compensation range and benefits:$90,000 to $120,000 - Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and location.Outstanding medical, dental, vision, Tri-Care Supplement, HSA, FSA, insurance (STD, LTD, life, AD&D, voluntary life, accident, hospitalization, critical illness), EAP, and additional discounts!IMSolutions is a rapidly growing woman-owned, veteran-owned Virginia-based management consulting company.
