As a Trauma Sales Representative, you will be a technical consultant in the Trauma Orthopedics product portfolio specializing in solutions for internal and external fixation to restore the function of the injured body part(s) quickly and effectively. Using your expertise, you will convert physicians/accounts by making sales calls and providing on-call clinical case coverage in the operating room while also training surgeons on Smith+Nephew products through education/programs in your territory. This position will work collaboratively with key podiatric and orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, OR staff, Sterile Processing Department (SPD), administration, clinicians, and researchers. You will work cross-divisionally to increase awareness and adoption cross-divisionally.This territory will manage a 24/7 call rotation within the team.What will you need to be successful?The foundation of your success relies on your technical expertise in the Trauma Orthopedics portfolio. Your ability to build positive relationships with surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and hospital administration enhances access to customers to provide data-driven, trusted solutions. You will also develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed your quota.Self-motivated salespeople

committed to partnering with all Smith+Nephew Trauma, Reconstruction and Sports Medicine counterparts in the region to discover sales opportunities.What will you need?Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum four years sales experience in medical device industry preferred and two consecutive years of quota attainmentPreferred experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic products or as an EMS/ParamedicProven track record selling/converting business at the surgeon or hospital levelExperience leading/mentoring team members and new sales representativesTravel Requirements:
