Job Title: Account Executive - Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm Sales Representative
Location: DC, MD, VA regions
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, career-oriented individual with exceptional leadership skills to join our team as a Low Voltage Systems Sales Representative.
Core Accountabilities:
Sell commercial, integrated low voltage systems solutions, including communication infrastructure (voice, video, and data), fire, sound, security, access control, and CCTV.
Work closely with customers to provide the best possible solutions for their immediate and future needs.
Maintain high standards of performance and conduct at all times.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prior experience in selling low voltage commercial systems.
Maintain and archive proposals and bids for future actions.
Attend site surveys to determine requirements for selling and installing jobs.
Assist customers with technical and installation issues.
Maintain solid working relationships with established accounts.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within low voltage product lines and construction.
Strong technical background through electronics and communication training is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office is essential.
Knowledge of installation practices and construction procedures is a plus.
Knowledge of state, local, and industry standards involving low voltage wiring, fire alarm sprinkler, and device installation.
Valid driver’s license and transportation required.
Ability to obtain Maryland Security Systems Sales and VA DCJS licenses.
Mobility required for site surveys and job site inspections.
Positive and respectful attitude to maintain good working relationships with management, staff, employees, vendors, and customers.
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and the ability to prioritize workload.
Education and Experience:
Experience in sound, low voltage wiring, fire-alarm, life safety, construction, or electrical background is a plus.
Strong outside sales background is essential.
