Personal Injury Trial Attorney

Job OverviewA leading civil litigation firm in Los Angeles is seeking a motivated and experienced Trial Attorney to handle a high volume of personal injury cases. This position requires an attorney with 2-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, who can independently manage cases from filing through trial. The ideal candidate will be skilled in trial preparation, depositions, discovery, and client interaction. Fluency in Spanish is a major plus. The role offers a great opportunity for growth and development within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.DutiesManage personal injury cases from filing to trial.Lead and provide guidance to the litigation team.Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.Review documents drafted by staff and associates.Prepare for trial, including strategizing motions in limine and associated trial documents.Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution (mediation, arbitration).Serve as first or second chair in jury trials.Handle post-trial motions and provide legal opinions to clients.RequirementsMinimum of 2-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.At least 3-5 trials as first chair.Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.Ability to work under strict deadlines and handle a large caseload.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Law and motion experience.Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.CertificationsActive California State Bar membership.SkillsExpertise in personal injury law and trial advocacy.Strong legal research and analysis capabilities.Excellent deposition and trial preparation skills.Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail.Strong organizational and communication skills.Team-oriented with a focus on client advocacy and professional integrity.
