The team’s mission is to enable engineers at Airtable to build reliable software by providing the tools they need to know about issues before our customers. We are looking for a manager with experience working on Observability systems.What you'll do
Serve as the hands-on technical leader of a 4-person (plus plans to grow) Observability software team.Develop the vision, identify high-impact early projects, build consensus across the infrastructure org for your proposed architectural evolutions, and deliver your projects.Support other engineers on your team and ensure high quality delivery.Serve as a steward for the existing components of Airtable’s observability stack including logging, tracing, metrics, profiling, and alerting.Who you are
7+ years in Software Engineering2+ years as the manager of a teamExperience with building and operating metrics, logging, or tracing systems at a large scaleExperience with Clickhouse, Grafana, and Open Telemetry preferredAirtable is an equal opportunity employer.
