No sponsorship is available for this position.Ramboll is seeking motivated and qualified candidates for a Mid-Level Consultant position in our Houston, Texas office.

To succeed in this role, candidates must have 7 to 10 years of experience in a related field, have (or actively in process of obtaining) their Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geoscientist (PG) license for Texas and possess a working knowledge of the Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP).We invite you to bring your site investigation and remediation knowledge and experience into play as you expand your career and make a direct impact within our Site Solutions team. You will work with all levels of expertise from entry level to team members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their fields. The successful applicant will be able to work independently, thrive in a team-environment, and be a technical resource for project managers and staff.Your role and responsibilities will include:Development and implementation of comprehensive site investigations by leading and/or participating in scope of work development and field investigations including soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater sampling; evaluation of data and preparation of technical reports based on the results of field sampling activities.Working knowledge of environmental regulations and application to real-world situations.Evaluating environmental data to support environmental fate and transport assessments and extent and magnitude of contamination determinations for the evaluation of site closure options.Applying engineering and evaluation skills to solve environmental problems.Preparation and evaluation of proposals and remedial cost estimates.Developing cleanup goals for contaminated sites using federal and state environmental regulations.Assisting with the development and evaluation of remediation alternatives for contaminated sites to achieve site-specific clean up objectives.Assisting in the preparation and editing of technical reports.Interactions with clients, agency, and the public.Oversight of field projects and management of subcontractors.Formulating conclusions and opinions and communicating with clients.Required Qualifications:Bachelor or Masters of Science or Engineering in Environmental Science, Geology, Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, or other engineering or related earth science discipline.At least 7 years of experience in site characterization, investigation, and remediation.Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Project.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and oral communication.Good time management.Ability and willingness to work as a responsible, independent team player in a consulting environment, including the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.40-hour HAZWOPER training is required;Possess or in pursuit of Professional License (PG/PE) accreditation.Personal Qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills;Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;Excellent written and oral communication skills;Good time management;Detail-oriented;Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously;Valid driver’s license and good driving record; andWillingness to work outdoors and travel.Welcome to our Environment & Health divisionRamboll develops innovative, scientifically sound solutions that help increase livability by reducing pollution and restoring natural environments.
