Warehouse Associate

Location: Piscataway, NJ

Role: Full-Time

Payrate: Up to $28 per hour DOE.

Job Description:

•Receive incoming HVAC products, verifying accuracy against purchase orders ordelivery manifests.•Inspect products for damages, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues tothe appropriate personnel.•Organize and label received items, ensuring proper storage and easy retrieval.•Inventory Management:•Maintain accurate inventory records of HVAC products using computerizedsystems.•Perform regular inventory counts to reconcile stock levels and identifydiscrepancies.•Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory replenishment to ensure productavailability.•Order Fulfillment:•Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.•Utilize warehouse management systems and equipment (such as forklifts or palletjacks) to move, load, and unload products safely.•Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient order processing andtimely shipment.•Warehouse Organization and Maintenance:•Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from obstructions to ensure a safeworking environment.•Maintain proper storage conditions for HVAC products, adhering to industrystandards.•Assist in periodic equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions or safetyhazards.•Quality Control and Documentation:•Conduct regular quality control checks on HVAC products to ensure compliancewith specifications.•Maintain accurate documentation of product movements, inspections, andinventory records.•Assist in implementing and following standard operating procedures (SOPs) toensure consistent quality and efficiency.In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties asassigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications•Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment•Must be 18 years of age or older•Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products, paperwork, and data entry.•Proficient in using computerized inventory management systems and basic officesoftware.•Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.•Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform repetitivetasks.•Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and provideexceptional customer service.Preferred Qualifications•6 months warehouse experience•Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand toolssafely and efficiently.•HVAC/R experience preferred•additional certifications or training in warehouse operations is a plus
