Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed

PATIENT DIAGNOSES:Vascular and EndovascularNeurosurgery and OrthopedicsGynocology and UrologyGeneral and BariatricPlastics and ENTOpthamoogyChildren - T&A, Ears, Hernias, Cleft Lip/PalatePhase II - when that unit is fullSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:Phase 1 Recovery Unit that provides observation and care of the patients who have undergone surgical procedures requiring anesthesia. We receive patients directly from the OR, EP Lab, Endo, IR, MRI and patients that are ICU who need to be recovered before being admitted to the units.PACU is a varied and challenging practice environment where recovery may take 30 to 90 minutes, depending on when patient reaches the criteria for discharge to Phase ll, home, post op tower or ICU.Nights and w/ends we recover as well as discharge Phase II patients.
