10 Bed ER OverflowRatios 1:6 at Night; 1:5 at DaysWill float to other Med Surg unitsInformation Regarding Observation Unit:10 Bed ER OverflowRatios 1:6 at Night; 1:5 at DaysFocus of constant reassessment of readiness of patient for discharge. This unit will be rapidly admitting and discharging patients.Floating Requirement: Will float to other Med Surg unitsWeekend Requirement: Will work every other weekend.Information Regarding the Other Med Surg Units:We all see a good mix of medical patients.Staffing Ratio 1:5-6 for nightsRatios may flex to 8 patients but RN will be paired with LPN for support in these instancesVariety of staff work on this unit and other Med/Surg units (i.e RNs, LPNs, Techs, etc).Other Requirements: Must be willing to work with variety of staff (i.e., RN, LPN, Techs etc.)Cannot guarantee/approve block scheduling at this timeMichigan RN LicenseBLS (AHA)Minimum 1 year Required.Floating depends on need- typically float to other units once per week roughlyThere is no guarantee that holiday time off requests will be accepted as holidays are usually required.COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not RequiredFlu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical Exemptions OnlyUnit:
