Shift : Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week. Weekends as neededLength : 13 weeksHoliday Requirements: If holiday falls within contract and there is a need, travelers would work, perm staff have scheduled holidaysRequirements:WA License3-4 years of CVICU, CCU, or cardiac specific critical care experienceMust have experience with temporary pacers - 50% of patientsMust have experience caring for stroke patientsBLSACLSNIHSSHighly recommended to have experience with all of the following devices: Impella, IABP, CRRT, Prismaflex, Ventrics, ECMO, & LVADsOther Details :
Charting System: Cerner# Beds 28 (average census 18-20)Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:1-2Common diagnoses/Types of patients Only have 1 ICU; Mixed diagnosis medical & surgical ICU, Heavy Cardiothoracic surgery, post-open hearts immediate post-op and POD 1-2, valves, PA caths, ECMO VV & VA, transvenous or epicardial pacers on 50% of patients. Multisystem organ failure, resp failure, renal failure, heart failure, vascular surgery, stroke, interventional neuro & transcatheter interventional patients, head bleeds, thrombectomies, Ventrics & lumbar drains. DKA, complex GI surgeries, liver failure, sepsis. ECMO VV & VAOk with first time travelers if have above experienceRNs required to titrate dripsFloating Requirements anywhere in house, prioritize floating to progressive care: 1:3 ratios, neuro progressive care 1:3 ratios, Med Surg 1:5 ratiosScrub Color/Dress Code Royal Blue, white or grey as secondary colorsEpic Travel Staffing:Day
