Responsibilities and Expectations:

As an Accounting Manager for IPS you will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day and monthly accounting operations for multiple sites. You will work closely with the Regional Finance Manager, as well as the Corporate Finance team, to facilitate the month-end close process and provide guidance to the regional team throughout the month with day-to-day accounting operations at the Service Centers (including supervising invoicing, payables, job costing, payroll, etc.). The Accounting Manager will be responsible the Meridian Service Center.Perform month-end close process, including processing journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial reportingWork daily with the Area General Manager to support business decisions and drive process improvement and profitability in the financial and operating value streamsWork with the Regional Finance Manager to support financial planning and analysis with the Service Center, including annual budget developmentProvide guidance to the Service Center Finance staff for job costing, inventory counting & analysis, accounts payable, labor entry, expense reportingTravel 25% to support Service Center staffPerform Ad-Hoc analysis to drive data-based decisions to grow sales and profitabilityQualifications and Competencies:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 5 years of Accounting experience preferredMinimum 3 years of Managerial Accounting experience preferredProficient with MS Excel/Word/OutlookWorking knowledge of accounting systems and month-end close processesYou'll thrive at IPS if you...
