Detroit, MIAssist the oral surgeon during medical procedures.
Assist in preparation and set-up of for surgical procedures in the office and hospital operating rooms.Monitor patients and assists with general anesthesia and IV sedation procedures in hospital and outpatient office settings.Discuss post-operative instructions for care and management with the patient. Relay post-operative complications/questions to surgeon.Maintain surgical equipment.Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Dental Anest Asst Natl Cert credentialed from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.Dental Assistant credentialed from the Michigan Board of Dentistry obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.Education:
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
