Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst is responsible for impactful items including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.ResponsibilitiesOwning the annual budget processPrepare various ad-hoc reports and analysis for senior managementPrepare monthly Power BI reporting packages for senior and executive managementLead and model new business pricing templates with various stakeholdersExecute value-added analysis. Develop and provide recommendations to management on profit optimizationLead in budgeting and forecasting processesHelp drive key insights and analyticsIdentify positive and negative operations trends and their effects on financial performance.Answer WHY things are happeningParticipation in RFPs, special projects, ad hoc research and analysis as neededSupport compliance and improve processes and internal controls in areas of responsibilitySupport annual financial auditOther finance/accounting projects as neededALL Acumen employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and act accordinglyMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in finance/accounting or related field3-5 years experience in a similar roleVery strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel skills (e.g. XLOOKUP, pivot tables, INDEX MATCH, GETPIVOTDATA, SUMIFS)Advanced knowledge of Power BI and the Microsoft Power PlatformExcellent client service skills and professional demeanorHigh degree of organization and attention to detailStrong oral and written communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate to a wide range of audiencesAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretionWorking knowledge of an ERP system productivity software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
