Job Description:

SCIS is seeking a Full-Time Administrative Coordinator who has strong administrative skills, including mid-high level computer operations such as Microsoft Suite (especially Power Point). This candidate will need to be detailed, organized, with the ability to multi-task, and possess professional communication and disposition. You will interact directly with visitors, as well as with various Supervisors and team members. Ideal applicants will have a background in administrative/office experience, and/or in the Security/Government sector.

Job Requirements:

1. Utilizes software, systems and equipment for badging and access control, including issuance and

tracking of all badges and passes, and terminating badges and access as required.

2. Provides employee and authorized visitor physical access for unclassified and classified

controlled areas.

3. Generates all Employee and Long-Term Visitor identification badges for the site.

4. Maintains non-escort visitor database.

5. Maintains computerized access control system, supporting remote sites.

6. Runs reports and metrics from the system and provided data to the area custodian. Required to provide the client with the data collection, reports, charts and graphs.

7. Backs up the service counter in the Badge Control office during high traffic hours of Badge Control.

8. Maintains logs data and files as required by the department/client. Processing of paperwork required by the client to attempt to retrieve non-accounted for badges from employees that have left the facility.

9. Interacts with the site Security and Facilities groups for event planning.

10. May interact with vendors for badge system template design, screen layouts and system

software requirements to maintain standards.

11. Will be trained on the designing of templates and system configuration required for manufacturing badges.

12. Performs a variety of office administrative functions, such as preparing correspondence and reports, processing mail, telephone and in-person reception, and filing.

13. Provides an atmosphere in which all client employees and visitors know that the client responds to and cares about their needs; provides courteous, respectful, and pleasant interaction with each client employee and visitor as perceived from their point of view; presents a good image of the client and its security department.

14. Communicates in a manner that is open, honest, and responsive in all situations.

15. Provides information regarding the site and surrounding area as requested by visitors.

16. Cross train in badging duties, lobby attendant duties, and Security Operations Center duties in order to provide support when necessary.

17. Any additional duties as required or assigned.

Additional Requirements:

Valid Driver's License Required, Minimum 18 years old, High School Diploma/GED, Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance, 6 months of Customer Service experience (Security/Military/Law Enforcement field preferred).
