We hire the best and the brightest from across the country constructing a team of experts in architecture, design, engineering, project management, and business services.A DAY IN THE LIFE:Act as an advisor to clients on site layout, building design, and entitlement path to best fit their timing and cost needsPrepare and maintain preliminary cost estimatesEffectively communicate with clients/owners schedule, budget, and action items to facilitate projectsBe the single point of contact for the client during the preconstruction process and represent the development team to all external partiesCoordinate with real estate attorneys, land owners, and development partnersTravel (primarily day trips) to visit prospective sites across the US, conduct visual inspection, and meet with local authorities to gather information and develop a preconstruction plan for a projectCreate and manage schedulesResearch and develop design alternatives and value engineering solutions and provide client with associated cost estimatesPrepare documents for regulatory agencies to obtain required permitsManage architectural, MEP, and structural design through concept development, as well as permit and construction documents phasesOversee the preparation of engineering studies and report conclusions to design and construction teamPrepare engineering cost estimatesManage the procurement of all necessary entitlements and permits for clients on multiple projects on accelerated time framesCultivate strong relationships with internal design and construction teams to leverage the broad interdisciplinary knowledge available and foster ARCO's team approach to executing projectsOpportunity for business development, initiating and maintaining client relationships, implement marketing initiatives, proposal production, and public presentationsNECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (any discipline), Architecture, or Real Estate2-5 years of preconstruction or project management experience; some level of design, procurement, or project management experience specific to mechanical equipment or building systems preferredExperience should demonstrate successful project delivery including schedule and budget managementProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Project and Excel
