Implement prescribed therapies according to students IEPs. Guide exercises to improve oral motor skills, speech fluency, articulation, cognition, listening comprehension, and oral reading skills. Qualifications for this School-Based SLPA position include: Graduation from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program (ASHA-approved). Speech-Language Pathology licensure in California. Current Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Certification (C-SLPA). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
