WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Dispatcher, you will play a key role as the first line of response in emergent and non-emergent calls.Coordinate the work and activities of EMTs, First Responders, MAV Drivers, and Nurses during emergent and non-emergent transportsBe courteous and professional to patients, facility employees, co-workers, supervisors and the public at all timesReceive, prioritize and dispatch calls in computer aided dispatch software (CAD)Intake large volume of calls and determine appropriate level of EMS response requiredOperate radio communication devices, multi-line telephone system and various computer systemsWHAT YOU'LL NEED
Dispatch experience is preferred but not requiredProficient computer skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work in high pressure situationsClean background checkNegative drug screeningPERKS
