The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Temple University Health System is seeking pathologists in the following areas:Associate Director of HLA/Immunogenetics LaboratoryChief of Clinical Pathology for Temple University Health System (TUHS) & Medical Director of Clinical Laboratories at Temple University Hospital (TUH) – Health Sciences Campus and TUH - Jeanes CampusSurgical PathologistSurgical Pathologist and CytopathologistThe Department of Pathology receives over 21,000 surgical specimens, (excluding nearly 7,000 oral specimens), 3500 cytology specimens, 100 autopsies, and performs over 2.2 million laboratory tests in a typical year. Special diagnostic testing includes immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, advanced molecular diagnostics, electron microscopy, and whole slide imaging. Modern research laboratories are equipped for tissue culture, real-time PCR, techniques for advanced protein detection, laser confocal microscopy, flow cytometry and molecular biology.In addition to a competitive salary and comprehensive suite of benefits
