This position may assist with monthly reporting, and will have a primary focus on forecasting, data management, and spearheading new projects that will enhance corporate value and advance the reporting capabilities and data used in making decisions.
The Candidate should have/be:
At least 6 years of financial analysis or management accounting experienceBA/BS degree in accounting or financeExcellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skillsStrong systems backgroundExperience with Budgeting and forecasting and financial modeling, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, primarily in ExcelExperience analyzing and reporting budget vs. actual resultsAccounting and general ledger experience, monthly close processData management experienceAbility to communicate and work with all levels of management and outside vendorsAble to work independentlyA self-started, take initiative type of person, ability to meet deadlinesDetail oriented, good at preparing and reviewing financial reportsBeneficial skills include:
Access or other data base experienceCost analysis/Cost AccountingSystem implementationSageDataRails or similar excel centric data base systemMining, Construction, or other heavy equipment background
