Job Description
The Walt Disney World® Resort is searching for dedicated Maintenance Technicians who are looking to push themselves to the next level in their career with our FOS Team. The Mechanical QC Inspector is more than just someone with a mechanic background. They conduct inspections on sheet metal, plastics, extrusions, bar stock, and sophisticated castings and complete assemblies for use throughout the property. The Inspector should understand complex mathematics and geometric tolerances. This position primarily supports manufacturing activities in a production shop environment.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years' experience performing dimensional/mechanical inspectionsExperience with machine shop practicesKnowledge of inspection tools and what they are used forKnowledge of geometric tolerancing and advanced shop mathematicsAbility to read and work from blueprints, schematics, sketches, and verbal instructionAbility to lift up to 50 poundsExcellent written and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devicesPreferred Qualifications
Maximo experienceCMM ProgrammingVisual NDT experienceResponsibilities
Inspect machined and fabricated parts and sub-assembliesSet up tooling or equipment as vital to conduct inspectionsComplete various mechanical inspectionsConduct dimensional inspection(s) on manufactured parts in accordance with engineering drawingsCast members are required to handle cleaning chemicals and suppliesAdditional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
