Overview:
Responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Pulls and fills orders. May use (but not limited to) power equipment such as a forklift, hand tools, and other devices operated in a warehouse environment. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights, shipping charges, and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines stock levels and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare production assembly kits.This is a 2nd Position:
2:30pm-11:00pm M-FResponsibilities:Loads and unloads product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areasReads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributedConveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areasSorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product codeFills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly lineAssembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping departmentMarks materials with identifying informationOpens bales, crates, and other containersRecords amounts of materials or items received or distributedWeighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standardsArranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workersEnters and maintains inventory records in the computerPrepares parcels for mailingCleans warehouse areaSafely utilizes production and warehouse equipment.Other duties as required and assignedQualifications:
High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalencyMinimum 1-2 years of related experienceAbility to perform these operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distanceAbility to complete duties with standardized situations with only occasional or no variablesBasic SAP knowledgeExperience working in a cleanroom environment. (Preferred)Ability to use Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPointWhat Repligen Offers:
