He/she is responsible for the decontamination and sterilization of instrumentation and equipment used in providing direct patient care. The Central Processor is cross-trained to assume all responsibilities within the scope of the Central Processing Department.The value youll bring to the team:Accurately assemble instrument trays.Sterilize instruments.Return sterile instruments to their proper location.Stock patient care equipment.Ability to operate Steam SterilizersAbility to operate Washer DisinfectorAccurately read and document Biological results

QualificationsThe expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:High School DiplomaBasic Life Support - CPR Certification preferredCertification obtained through IAHCSMM or CBSPD obtained within 1 year of employment.- Preferred
