Overview:
As our Sterile Processing Team Lead at CHI St. Vincent, you will help staff and customers by ensuring the efficient sterilization and processing of surgical instruments, so they can provide exceptional patient care. Every day you will schedule, organize, and provide work direction to meet the production goals of the Sterile Processing Department. You will be expected to serve as a liaison and resource regarding sterilization, processing, and sterile instrument storage, while maintaining compliance with established guidelines. Responsibilities: Continuously audit inventory activity and initiate appropriate adjustments. Ensure the efficient maintenance of instruments and processing supply inventory. Train and in-service employees on OSHA, Joint Commission, and Fire & Safety regulations. Coordinate schedules to ensure adequate department coverage. Assemble and oversee the assembly of 35-40 instrument sets per day. Qualifications:
