WHAT YOU GET TO DONetwork Management: Oversee the design, implementation, patching, and management of the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.Network Security: Implement and maintain network security solutions, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, to protect the organization's data and systems.Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor network performance and resolve issues related to connectivity, bandwidth, and network-related outages. Proactively identify and mitigate network bottlenecks.Network Upgrades & Maintenance: Plan and execute network hardware and software upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and business disruption.Backup & Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage backup solutions for network configurations and ensure recovery procedures are in place in case of a network failure.Incident Response: Respond promptly to network-related incidents, ensuring the network infrastructure is restored to optimal performance as quickly as possible.Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors for purchasing network hardware/software and for resolving complex issues requiring external support.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed network documentation, including topology diagrams, configurations, and policies. Report regularly on network performance and security.User Support: Assist the technical support team with complex networking issues and provide guidance for troubleshooting network-related problems.New Technology Integration: Stay informed of emerging network technologies and suggest enhancements that align with the company's goals.Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments on network-related requirements during system installations and upgrades.Support mission critical infrastructure environments: Assist in support of end nodes, network and servers maximizing system uptime and productivity.Travel: May be required to travel to other locations as needed.Additional Duties: As assigned by management.WHAT WE VALUE

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Networking, Computer Science, Management Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience required.5-7 years of experience in network administration or related IT fields.Experience with network design, installation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.Experience with Azure and Office 365 preferred.Experience in virtual server environments and network virtualization is preferred.In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios.Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions (Azure, AWS) and hybrid networks.
