DescriptionNashville General Hospital is hiring a Clinical Assistant for full-time Days The Clinical Assistant - CMA/LPN/RN delivers nursing care for patients across their life span, and through the use of the nursing process, assesses and documents the effects of care under the supervision of a Clinic Coordinator works cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, medical and other patient-team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. *This is a 40/hour a week position with the candidate working between 3-4 shifts a week and a rotating weekend requirement* As a Clinical Assistant, you will: Create a positive experience by welcoming and assisting clinic patientsPreparing and maintaining patient files by obtaining personal and health informationPromoting patient safety by maintaining a clean and hygienic environmentSetting up and stocking examination and procedure roomsSterilizing medical equipment and sanitizing designated areasRequired Skills & Qualifications: Current Certified Medical Assistant Certification at minimum or Practical/Registered Nurse License in the state of TennesseeBLS RequiredAbout Nashville General Hospital Nashville General Hospital (NGH) is Nashville's original community-based hospital.
