An Ophthalmic Assistant is responsible for gathering and documenting pertinent clinical information which allows Ophthalmologists to diagnose, monitor and treat patients with ocular problems. Successful candidates are eager to learn, motivated, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, are detail oriented and are committed to providing exceptional patient care.Available Shifts/Locations: We are currently hiring for our Stoneham location – shifts to include full-time, M-F 8:00am-4:30pm OR 8:30am-5:00pm.
The first 2-3 months of training will be held at the Boston main campus (243 Charles Street) – any parking costs will be reimbursed during this time.
Qualifications:Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in an ophthalmic or health care related setting is preferred
JCAHPO certification required within first year of hire
