Internship Description:
Assist with design and management of water and sewer infrastructure projects.Projects include water distribution pipelines; water booster pump stations; water storage tanks; sewer collection pipelines; and sewer pump stations.Other tasks as needed to support Water Design Center teams and regional engineering teams.Position will include construction observation and time outside on active construction sites.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program0-1 years of related experiencePassed the FE exam, or ability to do so within 6 months of hirePreferred skills:
Microsoft office suite experience; AutoCAD; ArcGIS/ESRIWorking knowledge of presentation software such as MS PowerPoint or KeynoteStrong communication skills and public speaking abilitysimilar experience in the water/wastewater utilities market with a focus on linear assets, storage, and pumping for water distribution and wastewater collection systems
