Dagger's strategy department consists of strategists who flex across brand, comms, and social - and who work closely alongside our media and analytics arms. The team is adept at defining the right message within the right channels with the right multipliers for maximum impact.
We are hiring a
Strategist
to work with well-known brands and create culture-pushing work. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their passion for great storytelling and cultural trends into an exciting career in marketing/advertising strategy on one of the best and brightest teams in the business.
How can you tell if this role is right for you?
If you have:
1-3 years of experience in a social media, community management, or communications in an agency or in-house environmentExperience managing a brand presence on any social media platform; including collaborating with creative teams to develop content, communing with brand managers and clients to manage the brand, and interacting with/understanding the audienceSolid understanding of:Content planning, tactical briefs, and content calendarsContent/channel audits and channel best practices, plus distilling in ways that are easy to communicate and applyEmerging digital and social media trendsStrong verbal and written communication skillsA familiarity with the foundational elements of marketing strategy beyond social media including quantitative and qualitative researchThe knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through a combination of work experience and formal education in marketing & advertising, communications, or journalismAnd you're

good at:
Supporting in the creation of client-facing POVs with an emphasis on both platform updates and client implicationsApplying a high attention to detail to both the visual and written presentation of informationForging strong interpersonal relationships and collaboration inside and outside of your departmentDemonstrating a natural curiosity through consistent personal growth or continuing education -- you're a big-time reader known to devour non-fiction and fiction content alikeLearning new concepts quickly, easily making connections between unrelated ideas, and taking on the challenge of unfamiliar tasksTaking a proactive approach to projects and workActively participating in and contributing positively to team cultureThis role is based in Atlanta, GA (we're a hybrid workplace).
