The Studio Photo/Videographer will play a pivotal role in visually representing our products in the most appealing and accurate manner. Your primary responsibility will be to produce high-volume, high-quality images and videos of our products, ensuring they meet the standards set by our marketing and branding strategies. You will work closely with our marketing and design teams to create visual content that effectively communicates the features, benefits, and quality of our products.

This position will work out of our office in Memphis, TN and does not offer hybrid or remote arrangement.Job Responsibilities:Product Photography & Videography:

You have the eye. Capture high-resolution images and videos of a large variety of tools and equipment, including chrome auto tools in our in-house studio environment. Ensure that each product is presented in the best possible light, showcasing its features, details, and functionality.Lighting and Composition:

Utilize appropriate lighting techniques and compositions to highlight the unique qualities of each product. Experiment with different lighting setups to achieve desired visual effects and enhance product appeal.Image and Video Editing:

Edit and retouch product images and videos using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, DaVinci) to enhance quality, color accuracy, and overall presentation. Ensure consistency in image and video style and branding guidelines across all product content.Design/Type Still & Animated:

Effectively communicate key features, specifications, and benefits to our target audience. Ability to integrate text, icons, and graphics seamlessly into product photographs and animate with videos while maintaining clarity and aesthetic appeal.Product Styling:

Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to conceptualize and execute product styling ideas that align with brand identity and target audience preferences. Arrange props, backgrounds, and set elements to create visually engaging product composition for both stills and videos.Equipment Maintenance:

A well-oiled machine. Maintain photography and videography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting fixtures, and accessories, to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.Workflow Management:

Manage and prioritize photography and videography projects effectively to meet deadlines and production schedules. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of finished images and videos for use in catalogs, marketing campaigns, website updates, and other promotional materials.Quality Control:

Conduct thorough reviews of product images and videos to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards. Address any discrepancies or issues promptly and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired results.Stay Updated:

Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging collaborate software/technologies in photography, videography, and visual content creation. Continuously seek opportunities to improve skills and techniques to enhance the quality and impact of product photography and videography.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Bachelors Degree in Photography, Videography or related field.3-5 years minimum experience in studio photography and videography.3-5 years experience partnering with creative peers.Exceptional communication and strong conceptual storytelling skills are a must.Proven proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and photo/video editing software.Must have professional familiarity with equipment such as Canon R5, Canon 5D Mark III, GoPro cameras, and studio strobes.1-2 years minimum experience with generative AI integration with photo/video compositions.Demonstrated experience working with highly reflective or chrome objects a plus.Knowledge of hardware tools trades and/or the automotive aftermarket is a plus.Portfolio submission required for consideration.Founded in 1919,
