The position of

Machinist, Level II

at

Aqua-Chem

will needto process components for assembly into customized clean water systems for customers domestic and around the world. Aqua-Chem is a team orientated work environment that encourages employee growth and innovation.

Schedule : (1st Shift) Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm, (OT may be required on Friday's 6:00am - 2:30pm)Pay Range : Dependent on Experience

Essential Duties:

Mazatrol Matrix, M32, or Mazak Smooth control use experience is neededMachine materials into components in accordance with company/customer requirements utilizing a variety of machining equipmentExperience with Mazak Mills, CNC Lathes, Drill Press, etc.Program CNC equipment via Mazatrol to produce components that meet quality specificationsOperate material handling equipment (forklift/overhead crane) to maneuver parts safely into place, while facilitating and optimizing workflow.Calculate dimensions or tolerances using instruments such as micrometers and/or Vernier calipersAlign and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machinesMachine parts to specifications, using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grindersStudy sample parts, blueprints, drawings and engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operation needed to fabricate products needed for productionMaintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned spaceOperate manufacturing equipment safely and efficientlyComprehend and follow ISO procedures to ensure compliance with standardDemonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required timeParticipate in root cause analysis projects and Continuous Improvement programsMust be able to perform on sight Mazatrol Mill programming testPerform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or ManagerRequirements:

High School Diploma or GEDMust be a U.S. CitizenMust be able to work up to 12 hours standing and walking on cement surfaces and will be required to regularly bend, stretch, stoop, squat, climb ladders, and climb stairsMust be able to work in temperature ranges corresponding to the outside ambient temperaturesProficient shop math and measurement skillsProficient in reading and interpretation of blueprints/drawingsOvertime as requiredExperience

At least 3-5 years in a manufacturing environmentPrograming experience on Mazatrol Matrix, M32, or Mazak Smooth control use, preferred
