Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst

Position Summary:
The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst works to provide key financial models and data using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel. Using these models, this individual collaborates with stakeholders to implement systems and dashboards to stay abreast of fluctuating business and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities/ Duties:Manage the company's process around business intelligence & data providing insight and aiding the business decision-making process.Plan projects to produce reports and dashboards to meaningfully address quantitative or qualitative analyses regarding business challenges.Act as the subject matter expert of corporate performance management software, data models, BI tools, extract, transform & load(ETL), database management tools, and statistical data assessment.Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to design and plan initiatives to produce effective dashboards, reports and metrics to measure business performance.Act as a key interpreter of non-financial data impact to financial performance.Provide key insights into the company's actual performance, variance analyses, forecasting and budgeting.Support finance, sales, operations, and support functions with data analytic need.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Behaviors:
Initiative to identify solutions before escalating to others.Team player with positive and energetic attitude, as well as keen leadership and management skills.Well-versed in financial, accounting, economic, and banking principles.Strong analytical and logic skills.Superior critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Ability to analyze numbers, recognize patterns, and perform calculations with ease.Ability to communicate cross-functionally within the organization.Education/ Experience:
3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, corporate planning and/or other related area.Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Data Analytics, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or Statistics.Excellent analytical and organizational skills.Exceptional problem-solving skills - an analytical, innovative, creative mindset.Advanced Excel skills to aggregate, model, and manage large data sets.Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau skills.Intermediate skills with extract, transform, and load data processing and automation.Experience with Corporate Performance Management software and ERP software, direct experience with Oracle NetSuite or Vena is highly preferred.
Physical Demands:
Sedentary Work - Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
