Accounting Manager

Our client in Bowling Green, KY is looking to add an Accounting Manager to it's growing business.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the overall accounting operations, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk. The Accounting Manager will ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Key Responsibilities:Oversee the accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, and general ledger.Assist in the preparation of the company's budget and forecasts.Compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.Assist in the coordination and responses to external auditors for the annual audit and prepare necessary documentation.Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations; additionallyQualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred but not required.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with experience in a supervisory or managerial role required.Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex financial data and trends and provide actionable insights.Project Management: Strong organization skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; ability to oversee and manage new and existing projects.The positions offer competitive salary, bonus and full benefit package.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
the individual's skill sets, experience and training;licensure and certification requirements;office location and other geographic considerations;other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
