The hospital is part of

Metropolitan Hospital accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with
New York Medical College
to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Responsibilities
Provide MOHS surgical services to a dedicated patient panel
Attend to a full spectrum of dermatological oncology procedures in a highly diverse patient population
Education of residents, medical students, and junior medical staff
Per diem opportunity
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited medical school
Unrestricted NYS medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Graduate from a Dermatology residency
Board certified in Dermatology
Fellowship trained in MOHS Surgery - Board Certification preferred but not required
Previous experience teaching residents preferred
Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population

Per Diem Rate: $174.73/hour
