Staff Accountant
position! As they continue to expand their national industrial and commercial portfolio, they are seeking individuals that can keep pace with their growth.
The ideal
Staff Accountant
has experience with maintaining financial records and is able to manage a large volume of work. They are looking for someone that has an eagerness to learn, a go-getter personality, and is a team-player.
This company also has a strong internal promotional track, with 80% of managers promoted from within.
Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly financial statements for a set portfolio of propertiesResponsible for month-end close, including preparation of all journal entries/accruals necessary to complete monthly financialsWork within Yardi to ensure accuracy of lease abstractsCreate and update certain account reconciliations monthly for multiple entitiesAssist CFO with ad hoc projectsPrepare quarterly asset reports and distribute amongst ownershipReview and approve accounts payable invoices for coding accuracyStaff Accountant Requirements:
2+ years of accounting experience within the real estate industry preferred but not requiredBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceStrong technical abilities within ExcelComfortable being in office 100% of the time
