This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to grow in the SEO industry with a successful, stable local digital marketing agency.Role DescriptionAs an integral part of our organization, you will oversee the SEO department and partner with other internal teams, including Account Managers, Sales Executives, Web Development, Paid Digital Media, and Leadership. Your role will involve assessing the SEO department's success, overseeing the structure and progress of accounts, and ensuring smooth operations.Successful managers in this role thrive on leading teams, bridging gaps with efficient processes, and developing innovative strategies that improve results for clients. The ideal candidate will have SEO experience, can lead a team, and stay ahead of the (everchanging) curve.ResponsibilitiesLead the SEO team to maximize productivity, job satisfaction, and professional growth.Identify and implement scalable, technical SEO practices that enable reliable organic growth for clients.Manage a small book of important client accounts.Oversee SEO projects to ensure the team is following protocols for success and meeting expectations.Foster a culture of continual learning, ensuring the team stays at the forefront of organic search practices.Provide updates and reporting on SEO performance to the client team, proactively flagging potential issues impacting search effectiveness.Develop and distribute educational materials to various client and teams, including strategies and best practices.Set weekly meeting agendas for the SEO team to ensure best practices are followed, new processes are implemented, and client issues are addressed.Mentor and train team members, supporting their professional development and enhancing current learning and development plans.Act as an SEO strategist for key accounts, directly handling strategy development, execution, and optimization.Perform keyword research, competitive analysis, and technical SEO audits for assigned accounts.
