Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and experienced IT Specialist who can think outside the box and operate with a great deal of initiative. You will be working on an effort that modernizes the global network of the Navy and Marine Corps.

General Skillset

Assist information engineers in coding, testing, implementation, and documentation projects.Conceptualize, design, construct, test, and implement portions of business and technical Information Technology (IT) solutions through the application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology.Interact with the customer to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction.Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects. Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and IT requirements.Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and IT requirementsCoordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.Confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables with the customer.Participate in business and technical IT solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.Apply metrics to monitor performance and measure critical project criteria.Establish and maintain security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documentsPrepare system documentation. Establish and maintain security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents.Analyze, identify, and resolve business and or technical problems using appropriate toolsRequirements

Education & Certifications

IAT Level IICompTIA Security +Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred but not requiredExperience Requirements

4+ years of experience related to Information Technology (IT)Demonstrated experience applying creative solutions to IT-related problemsDemonstrated experience having initiative in the workplaceExperience in Information Systems (IS)Specialized experience in a single discipline such as assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, data engineering, industry expertise, knowledge engineering or legacy evolutionBackground in Cybersecurity is highly preferredBuild Your Career With Us
