POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a

Senior Systems Analyst - Plant Service

who will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing locations by delivering technology services that enable plant and local office personnel to perform their jobs effectively and efficiently.

This is an exciting time to join Welch's and be part of our Information Technology Team supporting our manufacturing and local office teams as part of our transformational digital agenda.

WHERE YOU'LL WORK:

This role will be based out of our Lawton, MI manufacturing plant and regularly supports one other location in Berrien Springs, MI.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Lead the delivery and support of key plant technology services such as access control, security cameras, audio visual capabilities, and the support of annual harvest activities locally at facilities under your purview. You will also manage all IT services locally working closely with the company's Service Desk and Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) teams.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Coordination and implementation of all IT Service Management initiatives for Welch's plants and local National remote offices including A/V support for Board meetingsActively participate as a cross-functional manufacturing leader, supporting employee safety, quality, service and productivityConfigure, maintain and troubleshoot a range of hardware assets including desktops, servers, laptops, printers, tablets, mobile phones, handheld scanners and other peripheralsDaily management of toolsets including ticketing, asset management, image and deployment, patching, backups, endpoint protection and securitySupport a mix of software and applications including Windows desktop and server OS, M365 Suite, Active DirectoryManage and support plant systems including barcode scanning hardware and other IT/OT services including support of future farm/grower technologiesSupport of machine control (PLC) networksAccountable for the successful local implementation of our Collaboration Program, Service Desk transition, visitor and emergency broadcast systemsCollects and analyzes information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of servicesEstimates the costs of service solutions and prepares project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projectsCreates and maintains technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance and development of servicesWHO YOU ARE:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required. A combination of education, training, and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted in lieu of a degree7+ years of overall IT experience, with a strong preference for IT Operations, Infrastructure, IT Support or other technical IT area within a large/complex organizationIT Experience supporting a manufacturing environment strongly preferredOperational Technology (OT) experience preferredProven skills in IT Infrastructure, project and process managementAbility to work in and support a 24/7 environment providing coverage across multiple plants and additional hours as neededAbility to travel domestically up to 10%What You'll Enjoy:
