SUMMARY

Partner is seeking a full-time assessor to complete and finalize specific project tasks according to deadlines and within budget, completing Property Condition Assessments as assigned by the Project Manager. Looking for various levels of experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKSProject research (historical, regulatory, etc.)Communication with client and subject site representativesConducting appropriate site reconnaissanceData compilation and organizationReport authoringPreparation of quality supporting documents (site figures, appendices, etc.)Other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager associated with report deliverable schedule and planRESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct project research as applicable to scope of work (historical, regulatory, etc.)Data compilation and organizationConducting site reconnaissanceTechnical report authoringPreparation of quality supporting report documents/filesEffectively communicate project progress and issues with the Project ManageMaintain communication with team members throughout the course of the projectPlan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on scheduleUnderstands the assessment's potential impact on the transaction processIdentify and resolve issues with projectsDeliver appropriate progress reports (verbally or e-mail) to the ClientCoordinate and respond to requests for changes in project scopeCommunicate report delivery instructions to the Project CoordinatorKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Excellent communication skills (internal and external)Ability to work on projects concurrentlyProven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on timeExceptional writing skillsAbility to cultivate strong relationships within a teamUnderstand concepts of building component life cycles, system condition evaluation, replacement costsProficient in Microsoft Office, Corel and ExcelFamiliar with the basic principles of civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering, including construction and maintenance of structures and systems; the Americans with Disabilities Act; Fair Housing ActQUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor Degree from accredited university in construction management, architecture or engineering disciplineProjects involve a degree of travel. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and provide own transportation to and from project sitesPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend EnglishMust be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephoneVisual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screenRequires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shiftRequires the ability to climb a ladder

COMPENSATION

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $45,000 to $70,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
