Sr. Financial Analyst . The right candidate will analyze and assimilate financial data into useful management tools.Create and update financial models during project planning, due diligence, project submittal and division forecasting for potential and existing projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist Division CFO and Controller with the divisional business plan process, ensuring quality, accuracy, and analytical reviewEquip management with profitability analysis and reporting, including actual to enable informed decision-makingProvide accounting support in addition to managing special projectsPrepare and submit Weekly Funding Request Report to region and corporate, track fundingIdentify problem areas during analytical review. Evaluate, recommend, and implement alternative solutionsCreate and update financial modelsReview, update and manage Land Acquisition Performa (LAP) to support business plan for project planningDevelop and maintain metrics for planning communities in planning toolDevelop and maintain strategic plan utilizing key land objectives consistent with business plan for land positionUpdate feasibility LAPs to be submitted in the corporate submittal package for closing LAPsTransfer and update project information from LAP to GPA once project is purchasedOversee project profitability spanning the life of a projectManage and ensure data integrity for the Major Acquisition Transactions (MAT) databasePrepare, update and submit financial model trackers to regionManage the Inventory Tracker updatesPrepare various reports and analyses required by region or corporateProvide financial advice to managersConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to travel overnightSupervisory Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or universityFour to seven years of related experience and/or trainingAble to prioritize tasks and work under pressure when meeting deadlinesOutstanding analytical skills, oral and written communication skills, and presentation abilityExcellent Excel skillsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsProficiency with MS Office and emailAbility to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral visionPreferred Qualifications
