We are an established out-of-network medical billing company located in New Hyde Park, Long Island, seeking experienced Revenue Cycle Specialists with a strong work ethic and superior communication skills. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. The position requires well-rounded knowledge of the medical billing process including pre-submission review, claim submission and follow-up.
Job Responsibilities:
Review submitted claims for accuracyInvestigate and resolve claim denials and rejections by analyzing coding and documentationWork on insurance appeals and corrected claims correspondenceCreate and submit appeals and corrected claims packets, and other disputes, as necessaryWork closely with providers and administrative staff to ensure accurate documentation and billing processes.Ensure all billing practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirementsUtilize all available portals for claim informationAssist with obtaining pre-authorizations when neededQualifications and skills required:
High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of medical billing experienceOut-of-network billing experience strongly preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detailMust be flexible and adaptable to various work environmentsMust be computer proficientBenefits:
