The Corporate Accounting team is looking for a Staff Corporate Accountant to join our growing team. You'll have the unique opportunity to build processes, collaborate cross functionally, and play a key role in the team's ability to scale. The Staff Corporate Accountant will own various functional accounting areas and gain exposure to ad hoc initiatives and projects. In keeping with Reddit values, the successful candidate in this role is someone who operates with an open mindset and "values the human" in all interactions. This position reports to the Corporate Accounting Senior Manager and will work cross-functionally as a valuable member contributing to the Company's continued growth and success.
What You'll Do:
Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly close deliverablesPrepare monthly flux analysis for management reviewPrepare audit support for external and internal auditsOwn accounting and process documentation for areas that may include cash, fixed assets, prepaids, and month-end accrualsAssist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures & implementing internal control procedures (SOX) in areas of responsibilityEstablish effective relationships and work cross-functionally across the organizationDrive process improvements and efficiencies for areas of responsibilityAssist in any accounting-related system implementationsParticipate in special projects, analysis, and reporting as required by managementWhat We're Looking For:
1+ years of accounting or audit experience requiredBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredCPA (or on track to be certified) strongly preferredBasic knowledge of GAAP and SOX requiredPossess excellent attention to detail, organizational, problem solving, and prioritization skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teamsAble to work under time pressure, prioritize a high workload, and meet strict deadlinesTeam player with a positive attitude and open mindset, not afraid to roll up your sleeves and work in a dynamic environmentExperience working with NetSuite, Chrome River, Zip, and Coupa a plusProficiency in Excel, MS Office, and Google Workspace (e.g. Google Sheets and Slides) requiredBenefits:

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. $85,000-$119,000 USD
