How Will You Make an Impact?Lead audit engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, and ensuring deadlines are metBuild relationships with clients by developing an understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives; learn to apply this knowledge to enhance engagements, identify issues, and make recommendations for improvementsManage client deadline expectations, monitor actual performance against budget, and continually communicate engagement status to ManagersSupervise, teach, and develop associates and interns, including delegation of assignments, detailed review of staff prepared work papers, and evaluating performance on engagementsContinuously develop a comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards and how they apply to engagementsAssist with business proposals, networking, and recruiting opportunitiesHow Will You Get Here?
2+ years of public accounting external audit experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree preferredCPA certification or CPA eligibility with certification in progressExperience working with Financial InstitutionsSEC experience preferredIntegrated audit experience preferredStrong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, PCAOB, and Generally Accepted Auditing StandardsStrong analytical and quantitative skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be highly dedicated with a positive attitude and a team player who takes initiative and has an eagerness to learn and acquire new skills and knowledgeWhy Should You Apply?
