DescriptionThe Center for Disability Services offers hope, innovation and achievement to the people we support. For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York's largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere. We are searching for Clinical Assistants to join our agency. Openings are available at multiple locations throughout the Capital Region including Albany, Clifton Park, Troy, Schenectady, Saratoga and many more!. Responsibilities: Assisting, providing and promoting independence in the daily treatment, care and services of the people we support.Serve as members of the individuals' planning, implementation and interdisciplinary teams.Assisting in the implementation of individualized residential habilitation servicesRespect the individuals' personal choice, lifestyles and their dignity to take informed risks.Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree preferredAt least 1 year of work experience with Developmental Disabilities requiredMust be at least 18 years old to apply for this positionMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 poundsMust have a valid NYS driver's license in good standingOPWDD Medication Administration Certification, First Aid/CPR Certification and SCIP-R Certification must be completed within the first three months of employment (in addition to other program specific training required during first six months of employment)Pay range for this position is $17.86 - $22.42.
