Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Architect to lead and manage our Power BI Shared Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the architecture, development, and governance of Power BI solutions across the organization, ensuring that data-driven insights are efficiently delivered and maintained. The Power BI Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define best practices, oversee the deployment of Power BI solutions, and ensure the continuous improvement of our analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:1. Architecture & Design:Develop and maintain the overall architecture for Power BI Shared Services, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.Design and implement data models, reports, and dashboards that meet business needs and adhere to best practices.Integrate Power BI with existing data sources, data warehouses, and cloud-based platforms like Azure.2. Governance & Best Practices:

Establish and enforce standards, guidelines, and best practices for Power BI development, deployment, and maintenance.Collaborate with the data governance team to ensure data quality, security, and compliance across Power BI solutions.Define and manage user roles, access controls, and security policies within Power BI.3. Shared Services Management:

Lead the Power BI Shared Services team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective operation and delivery of services.Oversee the management of shared workspaces, datasets, and reports, ensuring optimal performance and usage.Conduct regular assessments of Power BI usage, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.4. Continuous Improvement & Automation:

Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes for Power BI development to streamline workflows.Leverage automation tools such as Power Automate to enhance the efficiency of Power BI processes.Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and industry trends, incorporating new capabilities as appropriate.5. Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with business leaders, data teams, and IT to understand reporting and analytics needs, translating them into effective Power BI solutions.Provide training, support, and documentation to end-users and other stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of Power BI solutions.Act as a subject matter expert for Power BI, offering strategic insights and recommendations to optimize data-driven decision-making.6. Monitoring & Support:

Monitor the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards, troubleshooting issues as they arise.Provide ongoing support to ensure the reliability and availability of Power BI services.Manage the transition of support activities, ensuring a smooth handover of responsibilities from incumbent teams.Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer ScienceExperience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics, with at least 3 years focused on Power BI with migration experienceTechnical Skills:

Proficient in Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, DAX, and M language.Strong experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure and experience with Azure Data Services is highly desirable.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Power Automate.Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
