Job Summary:
Drive tractor trailer to deliver and merchandise beverages to customer locations. Delivery stops will vary between unloading product to the ground using a lift gate and six wheeled cart and backing the trailer into a dock and unloading using an electric or manual pallet jack. Drivers are required to deliver in a timely and customer service focused manner. Routes begin between 5 and 6 AM and work until all deliveries are completed averaging approximately 10 hours per day.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Drive tractor trailer in a safe and responsible manner following all Federal, State, and company guidelines and regulationsMaintain a high level of professional image and customer focusOperate electric/manual hand held computer and printerDeliver and merchandise productsControl inventory to ensure product freshness and securityExecute marketing programsConduct care and maintenance of equipmentHandling and securing of cash and other paymentsOperate electric and manual pallet jack as well as six wheeled and 2 wheeled cartLive and model the BBG Vision and TEAM BROWN ValuesExecute other duties as assignedPhysical Demands:
Lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and 60 pounds intermittentlyWork approximately 10 hours per dayPushing, pulling, bending, stooping, standing, walking, and squatting frequentlyWork Environment:
Tolerate working in cold temperatures as low as 35 degrees for prolonged periods of timeAble work outside in all weather conditionsQualifications
Must have a valid Class A MS Driver's license with clear MVRMust have a valid DOT medical cardExcellent communication/negotiation skillsMinimum of 1 year of sales or merchandising experience requiredAbility to work within a teamAbility to transition verbal or written communication/directive to in-store executionSufficient math skills to perform calculations of margins and other sales related functions
