SUMMARY

The Accounting Operations Analyst is responsible for the contract management application (DocuSign) that is utilized by many JOANN teams including Merchandising, Accounting Operations, and Real Estate. This includes system administration, maintenance, issue resolution, reporting and conducting meetings with management. Ensures the integrity of vendor master is maintained and coordinates the set-up or change to vendor bank account information needed to process payments electronically. Assist in various finance related projects including participation in planning, designing, testing and final implementation. Occasionally responsible to complete or assist with job duties for Accounting Operations positions that are vacant or need additional assistance. Additional responsibilities include the completion of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, reporting and various analysis.

JOB DUTIESResponsible for the system administration, management, and maintenance of the contract management application (DocuSign). Respond to inquiries and assist in the resolution of system issues communicated by team members. Monitor and respond to all system issue tickets created with DocuSign. Ensure contract templates are updated and maintained. Periodically conduct meetings with members of management to discuss system enhancements, reporting requirements and open issues.Ensure the integrity of the vendor master is maintained which includes updating and reviewing master vendor terms as new vendors are onboarded and changes are needed to current vendors.Coordinate the set-up or change to vendor bank account information needed to process payments electronically. Ensure established controls are being met to limit the threat of a fraudulent transaction. Monitor bank website to ensure issues with bank account set up are resolved quickly.Assist in multiple finance related projects related to various departments under the finance umbrella. Participate in the planning and designing of the project which could include working with an external third party and the internal finance department. If project is system related, conduct testing of various scenarios to ensure smooth implementation of the system for users.Complete monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, reporting and various analysis.Occasionally responsible to complete or assist with job duties for Accounting Operations positions that are vacant or need additional assistance. Assists with ad-hoc reporting requests and analysis.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education Minimum: Bachelor's Degree - Accounting or Finance

Experience Minimum: 0-2 years of experience in finance and/or accounting or related experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

This role requires in-person attendance 4 days a week at the Store Support Center (SSC) located in Hudson, OH. Flexibility to work remotely when requested is determined by management and business needs.Sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods while maintaining focus and productivity.Move around an office space and between buildings on a large campus, including reaching for files, retail product, supplies, or equipment, as well as the ability to adapt to various workstation setups.Work standard business hours and extended hours as needed based on task and project demands.Utilization of all communication styles - written, verbal, electronic options.Lift and carry office supplies, documents, retail product or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds as needed for tasks such as organizing or setting up workstations.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
